This worldwide search is a tool to provide a comprehensive review of all explorer yachts listed on the market and may include expedition yachts centrally listed by other companies.
S/Y LEGEND is a proven world cruiser, having recently completed an extraordinary circumnavigation for her current owner, an impressive bucket-list achievement that speaks to her capability, reliability, and comfort at sea. Following this global voyage, she is now in Savannah, Georgia, undergoing a comprehensive refit to further enhance her condition and onboard systems.
Designed by renowned naval architect Ron Holland, this 112’ Alloy Yacht is a striking example of classic sailing pedigree. Maintained to an exceptional standard by knowledgeable owners and crew, LEGEND has benefited from significant refits in 2016 and 2022, with further upgrades currently underway. Presented in pristine condition, she represents one of the finest yachts of her size on the market. Her performance credentials are equally impressive, including a clean sweep of all three races in her class at the 2019 St. Barths Bucket—won by the largest cumulative margin in the event’s history.
LEGEND accommodates guests in three well-appointed aft staterooms, including a full-beam master, a port double, and a convertible starboard cabin. The master suite features a walk-around queen berth, an L-shaped settee, bureau, and a split en suite with a marble shower and separate WC. Forward of the galley, crew quarters comfortably accommodate four to five, complete with a dedicated crew mess.
A standout feature is her dual-cockpit layout, offering both a private owner’s cockpit aft and a spacious center cockpit ideal for socializing, dining, and comfortable sailing. The helm is positioned just aft, with easy access to the side decks.
Her interior is both elegant and inviting, featuring a low-profile raised deck salon/pilothouse and a generous full-beam lower salon. Finished in rich teak joinery with refined soft furnishings, the space is bright, airy, and exceptionally well-ventilated throughout.
