All Ocean Sailing Yachts Brokers & Staff
President John DeCaro

John’s life-long love of all things nautical naturally led him to pursue a career in mega yacht brokerage.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, John moved to Jamaica temporarily when he was 4. Here his father introduced him to sailing and all things to do with the water. "He gave me a love for the sea that grew with me. The first boat I sailed on was a 38' wood sloop out of the Kingston Yacht Club."

Earning a 500-Ton US Coast Guard Masters License, John has spent 18 years enjoying a life around the ocean, logging over 80,000 nautical miles of experience. John has sailed on every ocean in the world. "To be a competent captain, you have to have total knowledge of the yacht. The first job I earned money for in yachting was cleaning the bottom of a 90' schooner in St. Thomas harbor. I worked my way up from there and have worked in every position on a boat including chef and engineer." For many years John ran his own business delivering yachts, managing projects and working in systems integration in AutoCAD prior to his brokerage career, which has kept him hopping the globe for the past 14 years.

Yacht Broker Steve Reoch

Steve sold his first sailing yacht in 1978, an Ericson 30’ sloop. He spent his childhood getting on the decks of a variety of sailing yachts including the well known RUNNING TIDE, CHALLENGE and RECLUDA, yacht racing on Chesapeake Bay and long Island Sound. While working on his degree in International Trade at American University in Washington, D.C., he lived on an 87' 1916 converted ice cutter and skippered a 60’ Nat Herreshoff motor sailor ketch HELIANTHUS. He was Captain of the sailing team and did his independent study program with a charter to the Bahamas (and got an A). After graduation he sailed to Europe on a 40’ ketch.

Yacht Broker Curt Stevens

Born in California and raised in Indiana, Curt Stevens found his love of sailing at a young age through one-design sailboat racing on Midwest lakes. He attended Indiana University as a music performance major, and spent a number of years performing professionally as a vocalist.

In 1984 Curt moved to “America’s Sailing Capitol,” Annapolis, Maryland, where he and his partner, Thom Wagner, formed Wagner Stevens Yachts. Over time the company grew to become a premier sailboat builder. Curt spent 20 years developing and building the Passport line of semi-custom, blue water cruising sailboats. Having built and sold over 350 Passport Yachts, Curt has an extensive background working with high line clients to achieve their goals in a custom build.
